A very warm WELCOME to you, Assalamu Alaikum, Hello, from myself Kanees Baig and my husband Abdulmalik here at SendSalaams.com.

We are a husband & wife team based in the UK working together on what initially was my childhood hobby - drawing cards for all occasions.

This interest stayed with me into adulthood and developed into a passion. As a result we have created our own unique range of Islamic greeting cards which we hope you will enjoy viewing and giving as much as we have enjoyed making them!

In fact, we like to think of ourselves as the alternative for Clinton cards but with an Islamic twist.

We chose the name SendSalaams.com because Islam encourages us to send the greeting of Salaam to each other. This greeting means "Peace" and is commonly used to say "Hello". The name SendSalaams is appropriate because sending an Islamic greeting card would do exactly that - spread the greeting of peace.

This in a nutshell sums up what SendSalaams.com is about.

SendSalaams.com came from us finding a gap in the market for Islamic greeting cards. Like me, you may have found it difficult to buy cards for your family and relatives for events in the Islamic calendar. Or maybe you are from another faith or none, and wanted to buy a card for a Muslim neighbour, friend, teacher, boss or employee, but are stuck on what to get them.

SendSalaams.com aims to provide Islamic greetings cards which cover not only occasions like Eid and Ramadan but also the Hajj & Umrah, alongside the more traditional events like births, marriages and deaths.

A greetings card is sometimes the ideal answer when you don't have time to visit families, or if you live miles away or if you're just tied down with work and home committments. Time is something we are beginning to have less and less of each and every day.
